HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A MOTORCYCLE WHICH HAS THE DESIGN CUES OF A LETTER?
CHECK OUT THIS ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE CONCEPT INSPIRED BY THE LETTER “Z”!
The Z electric motorcycle concept was designed by California based designer Joseph Robinson. He usually creates automotive concepts of known brands in his free time. However, this is the very first concept that isn’t related to any brands.
THE Z MOTORCYCLE
- The entire motorcycle is based on the letter Z, from the headlamp to the taillamps.
- The purpose of going with electric powertrain is to make a ride which is thrilling.
- The excellent design overcomes the challenges of fitting the battery pack within the chassis.
- Portable 30kwh battery makes the bike more practical.
The screen with Z Concept displays charging status and also acts as a tachometer and turning indicators.
In the case of the suspension, the front fork houses a strut tower within the structure. With the foldable handlebars linked to the front fork steer the bike. As for the back, spring strut with damping pads takes care of the business.
Moving along the motor housing, the bike features a foldable footpeg and belt-driven rotors with “compression brakes”.
Though it’s just a concept and at design stage, hopeful to see this concept coming to life someday soon!
